How Do You Differentiate Differential Equations?
There are two main methods, two main approaches to solving a PDE. A fully discrete method would discretize space and time together. The semi discrete approach is the approach taken by every computational physics class or method really because again, it's far or far higher in accuracy. And this is where all of this comes into play.
