Danny Cevallos: I'm intrigued by the interconnection of so many themes here as Macian unpacks this. He says liberal theologians face something of a quandary in admitting that Jesus was sinless because that requires a notion of a fixed law or a fixed standard. But if God enters into such a process with an absolute goodness, then supernaturalism has become involved with the natural world, he says.Cevallus: If you lose all these things, what's left of the gospel?
