How Can I Really Engage With Other Cultures?
In many indigenous and aboriginal cultures, there aren't tons of story tellers telling their stories. The first person that i ever met that really told stories in a way that blew my head off was a a lacotas medicine man called wallace black elk. He wanted Lacota stories to be expressed. There are charities on line you can donate to. That does not give you permission to tell those stories, but it's a changing moment. I think what was encouraged 25 years ago is not encouraged now. And the real challenge is to dig into that unglamorous scrub of garden,. like the one behind the house i grew up in, and start to do your own investigative work
