I Love the Rubik's Cube of Poetry

I feel like poetry is maybe the best art form for interweaving the good and the bad. And I think even in the sort of clumsiness of trying to do that other sort of surprising thoughts and feelings do sometimes reveal themselves. In the last few years I've really been trying to figure out what is it about poetry that allows for all of those things. If I wanted to write comedy I'd be writing for a TV show or whatever but anymore I can't think of anything more depressing than having to write for sitcoms.
