Irving and Susskin found out about a true story. That Howard Hughes loaned $205,000 to Richard Nixon's brother. Francis had asked for help to bail out a restaurant chain called Nixon's that was popular in the 1950s but went bankrupt in 61. So like the Hughes cash just couldn't save the Nixon's restaurant chain. It hit a little close to home and it contributed to that politician's downfall.
