The Importance of Understanding Adhesive Capsulitis
Can adhesive capsulitis affect both shoulders? Yes, absolutely. It can happen at the same time simultaneously or sequentially where one shoulder is affected after the other. Unfortunately, this is not a condition that we can expect to resolve in a matter of a week or even a month. This is a long-term condition that patients need to be ready to work towards getting through. But it can be a prolonged recovery. And so managing those expectations up front is really important. Thank you.
