A young boy was digging a hole in the sand with a shovel and then running to get bucket after bucket of salt water. augustin stopped and, after watching him for a couple of minutes, said, what are you doing? And the boy replied, i'm going to take that great big ocean and put it in this little hole. To which augustine gently said, my son, that ocean is far too big to place in that little hole. The child disappeared, an angel sent to remind him just what he was trying to touch through all his teachings.
