The Challenges of Traveling the Western Route of Africa
The Western route of Africa includes about three times more countries than to go up the East side. The infrastructure is significantly different and there are long distances that need to be traveled without a paved road. It's very similar to the Silk Road, but I don't think on the Silk Road you're probably not getting stopped 20, 25 times a day by military.
