What Do We Teach in Schools?
Sally Kohn: What role do you see for a central authority to regulate what's taught in schools? Do we have inorision? Isit more of tis a strictly decentralized, organic approach to schooling. Or is there a place for central authority to say, hey, we need some degree of us all being on the same page? If were could have any kind of coherent democracy and national consciousness totally yet, that is a very important attention. And so itis few things. I address this directly in my book, i basically talk about a this field of curriculum studies,. which is getting at this question of whose knowledge, not what knowledge, but whose knowledge and understanding and history
