The Principles of God's Call to Peace
Paul is addressing specific situation that has been written to about from the church, not every possible situation. So we need to then what principles are being applied by Paul to come to this conclusion? And I think some of the principles are God has called us to the peace. If you have an acrimonious marriage that cannot be resolved, that's actually bad for each other's health and maybe mutually abusive.
