If we want to be productive and sharp, we really need to take a very good care of the brain recovery. And we need to be selective on what things we use our neocortex to. When we are, when we don't have enough energy for neocortex, we can't make the best decisions. If it's a really challenging task or if the task you don't really want to do, so causes you stress, you need to take breaks more frequently.
