What's the Impact of the Pandemic?
The pandemic in 2020 may continue to have residual impacts going forward for many decades or maybe even a century into the future just from the intensity of that experience and how it affected some people's psyches in different ways. It makes me think about this idea of epigenetics where like our experiences cause these different reactions to something that's already there in our DNA. And so if we're already people that have these kind of intergenerational responses or themes that we're dealing with, then this like really massive scale like several years lasting other trauma comes along obviously it's going to stir up a lot of that stuff in a very deep way.
