The First Ascent of the North Face of Mount Huntington

Jack Roberts and Jim Bridwell made the monumental first ascent of Mount Huntington in 1978. The route still has not been repeated to this day, but remains an icon of the era. "I think it just expanded the horizon a bit for the people that made some money," says Rick Faraby. Butch Faraby continued on with his climbing career until he died at age 80.
