Is It True That There's Just So Many Different Kinds of Horror?

Caroll clover makes a really interesting point in women chain saws, that her definition of horror comes from video rental store classifications. We don't have that any more. I we have flakes ind their classifications, which can be a little walky. But this is the point that i still think as great about what Caroll clover's point is, is that i think everybody has a walking around, working definition of what horror is,. whether they are aware of it or not.
