Is the Tuition Reset Really Helping Higher Education?
Colleges and universities are resetting their prices to get more students. The idea is that if it doesn't cost much, we don't think it's worth much. But the reality is they're giving away 52% of their revenue from tuition for financial aid. It's unsustainable but no one wants to stop doing what they do.
