The History of the Noise Academy

The Noise Academy was an early experiment in interracial co-education. The school's founders included its namesake Samuel Noise and other open-minded residents of Canaan, New Hampshire. Over the next several days, the mob proceeded to drag the building more than half a mile down the road, eventually leaving it in a swamp just outside the town of Canaan.
