The Soul of the Park

Rena, a monkey who has no arms and can't move her legs, is the park's 'soul' She was rescued from an inner-city street where she had lived for 20 or 25 years. The little girl eats with her feet because she doesn't have any other way to do it. Now rena lives in another enclosure at the Samatra wild life centre - which Nick started after selling his own clothes so he could help fund its construction. It took three years to get the fence built around the samatra wildlife centre but now there are more than 100 animals living inside their enclosures. They're also building a school that will educate local people about animal trafficking as well
