The Different Types of Sharks

Dr. Steven Kanjura is a professor and head of the shark lab at Florida Atlantic University. He says sharks have little nostrils on either side of their heads that give them an acute sense of smell. Their noses are so sensitive they can detect blood or animal smells up to a mile away.
