What Do You Tell Your Patients When They Leave the ED?
The common teaching is that wounds should be protected from the sun. So far, no benefit really with aloe vera, with honey or with vitamin E. The one that I do tend to tell patients myself and I'm open to being proven wrong, but to avoid sun exposure. Usually I tell them for about six months.
