Polycythemia Virea: A Clonal Disorder

Polycythemia virea is a clonal disorder that involves multipotent, hematopoietic progenitor cells. Most people have a mutation in the auto-inhibitori pseudokinase domain of the tyrosine kinase, JAC2. New drugs are being developed to target these specific mutations.
