The Waste of Perfume

The story is about perfume that gets poured out. But the disciples question why this waste speaks to a much larger fear, doesn't it? That there'll be all of this expenditure that will give ourselves to something that doesn't last or endure or produce anything. If you're like me, you have all these events, moments, relationships, work, projects and you poured yourself into it. And then it sort of ended, it blew up in your face and you're thinking, did I waste my time? Like, was it even worth it?"
