Cancer Cells Survive by Mastering Camouflage

i mean, there are numerous examples of the tricks that cancer cells deploy to survive and even divide. And one in particular that was very interesting is how those cancert cells might evade immune response by basically mastering camouflage. So i was wondering about two things: One, how does it exactly happen? And two, whether it's a temporary thing, where those cancer cells would change their expression levels once they encounter a new response.
