Understanding Theology Is the Only Way to Keep It in the Right Perspective
Sayers had a very sophisticated understanding of church doctrine, the history of Christianity. But at the same time, she used language that the common person could understand. She really felt that theology was applicable to daily life. If you can't put your faith into the vernacular, you don't know what you believe.
