Ray Jackson - The Basket Ball Shoe
Ray Jackson was a star basketball player at the University of Texas. He and his team-mates were forced to wear shoes that didn't fit them because their ankles were out, so they had to practise with new ones before every game. The players also wore black socks in place of traditional white or blue dress socks for fear of scaring off opponents.
