The Effect of Vikril on the Heart

Vikril has the effect of penetrating the heart in a way that nothing else does. You cannot do things that are displeasing to Allah subhanAllah ta'ala and think that it's going to bring about any type of stillness into the heart. If you fill your heart with meaninglessness then you're going to have a meaningless reaction. The second thing is who you're surrounding yourself with. Your inside is going to feel a certain way. That's why I have brothers and sisters every single year at Ramadan come up and say, "I want quit my job because I'm feeling amazing in the message"
