The Different Types of OCD
An all-factory obsession is where a person has a strong conviction that some part of their body is emitting a very noxious unpleasant odor. People with this concern will often engage in checking with loved ones to say if do they smell that they had bad breath or do they detect an odor? The next most treatment resistant form of OCD is what I refer to as responsibility OCD. That's a subset where people are more concerned about their potential negative impact on others rather than for their own safety and concern.
