The real losers are not the wage earners, but retires who don't have any wages. And it's going to be much worse, i think, in 20 22 than it was in 20 21. Investors were looking beyond the inflation numbers to the rate hikes that we're going to follow. The anticipation of this tighter monetary policy put downward pressure on gold and upward pressure on the dollar.
