The Importance of Consent in Sex

I think the main appeal of this argument actually just has to do with people wanting and intellect, like people who are interested in an intellectually satisfying account of why they care about some of the things with respect to sex that they do care about. If you really think sex is sort of like, it almost seems like superstitious to me to think that consent is so important in sex. And it actually is that important, but without having that importance be related to a more specific understanding of what sex is.
