The Importance of Degrees in Business Computing
I know that when I interviewed at Microsoft, because I had 15, 16 years experience before I got the interview, I didn't even mention the degree. But if I wanted to go to work for Microsoft research, I would have to have at least a master's degree or preferably a PhD. If I was working in my PhD, I could get an internship and that's not negotiable. Yeah. And I think that I was just thinking that. It wasn't about certifications. It was about actual, I did this and I accomplished that, et cetera. That's just part of the experience.
