NASDAQ Composite Index - What's the Dow Doing?
The NASDAQ composite index is made up of a whopping 3,700 shares. Unlike the Dow on the S&P 500, most people don't really know what it does. It just helps us know what the tech sector is doing because the tech sector makes up more than half the index. The top five companies are things like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Tesla and Alphabet Class C shares.
