Queer Connection

I identify us queer, and most of my friends do as well. And there's something about the kind of relationships i feel that we have to have with each other that just don't fit the mould where it says that your romantic partner is the end ill be all o all your relationships ike the nucleus. There's this interesting theory called the substitution hypothesis, which argues that if we don't have connection in our life in some way, we're going to find connection in another place,. So i think for queer folks, sometimes, if you're not accepted by your family, you find the offering of deep connection in your friendships, and you find the offer of a chosen family.
