In theory, if wisdom teeth are useless towards survival at this point in our stage, it actually makes you less survivable because until recently in the human age, could we easily take out wisdom teeth before they would cause infection? They can kill you, honestly. But so here's my thing is that so if we didn't have modern medicine and wisdom teeth did sometimes kill you, it naturally would evolve out of the species. We'd stop with wisdom teeth. And I think to answer your question that the wisdom teeth dilemma with the jaws not being wide enough is like very small in human history compared to. gorillas or dogs.
