The Challenges of Working on a Camal Language

One of the challenges that we have with working on o camel is we do not own the language. The language exists outside of our walls. And in the end, we have to convince up stream maintainers about changes that we want to make. We see many examples internally where we see a way to improve them. But there's no automatic acceptance to anything that comes from jane street. If you only need it for jane street, then it's probably not going to be a feature for the general purpose language and the community compiler.
