The first book in the series is about a police officer who runs away to England. She finds herself on a stakeout with two other officers, Chris and Donna. They are trying to find out what has happened to Patrice whose mom they met at the end of the last book. This is also where we find out that Donna's black but she can't relate to her culture because no one knows how to do her hair. The second book will be released next month.
