The Role of MOBITZ in the Treatment of Wakiny Back
So-called wanky back is almost always proximal. One in 200 patients will have basically distal block where you can still have wanky back periodicity, but it's unbelievably rare. On the other hand, you can have high grade AV block, two or three non-conducted P waves which is still in the AV node. This is with vasovagal syncope, for example, or with drugs that affect the AV node,. especially at night.
