Conan O'Brien's Monologue

The hardest part of every week usually is the monologue. There's always one joke right at the top of the show where it's i the introductory, sort of like preamble joke. We just didn't know what it was. So he tries one at dress rehearsaln and it doesn't work. It's 11 24 p m. He's walking on the stage in a matter of minutes, and we still don't know what that joke is. And literally, the a the show starts, the cold open starts,. It's happening on live television, and we're right outside the studio trying to write one joke.
