Is Bias Having an Impact on Medical Education?

The bias wasn't necessarily operating at the individual level. It was seeping in through widespread society standards around what it means to heal, who is given the power to heal. I think we need to keep doing what we've been doing over the last decade or so - getting more women and people of colors into medical school. Increase their representativeness, increase support for those people in medicine. With time, we can change the societi notions of who has the power to thanks for tuning into science sessions.
