The Unions' View on Streaming Television
The unions in general have been 20 years ago, 15 years ago, whatever it was, were very slow to recognize and act on the fact that streaming was a thing. And then of course during that period, streaming became the way for people to see these huge hit shows like Stranger Things. All of the unions were caught flat footed and completely did a disservice to their members because people weren't getting compensated the way they had been.
