The Soo Cup and Handle
O stock comes up to a certain level, oft 80 dollars a share. It runs up to that, it pulls back down to 70, and it runs up to 80 again. But there's still supply there that's unable to be taken out at that point. So the stock backs off again. At 76 dollars a share, it finds support and starts rallying up towards that 80 dollar level again. Then it might even dip down to 78 and then hit the 80 n break out.
