The Right Role for Regulation in Cybersecurity?
Chris Inglis: We don't do cybersecurity for the sake of cybersecurity, we use it in order to cause other things to function better. So let's invest in that innovative activity by leveling up the playing field and rewarding those who have minimum requirements in cybersecurity that find innovation in cybersecurity. Cambo: Getting it right means also harmonizing, having opportunity for reciprocity and doing it in full consultation with both the regulator and the regulated. The idea of shifting liability is a long term process. It's not going to happen overnight. But we've done this before.
