The Jared Fogle foundation was really just a way for Jared to look good on paper and to make money without being taxed. So they ended up raising $650,000 for charity between the years 2008 and 2013 but only donated $145,000 of that. Between 2009 and 2013 not a single grant was ever given to any schools. The money spent went straight to Russell and Jared and more than a quarter of the foundation's funds went missing.
