The Black Panthers Are Just Americans Like Everyone Else

Huey Newton and Bobby Seal took the black Panthers from 10 points on a piece of paper to national newspapers in seven months. Armed with loaded weapons, they would pile into cars and cruise Oakland ghettos until they saw a black person stop by the police. They would stop the car and get out with their guns drawn, not pointing them but holding them. The cops didn't know what to make of this.
