An mani grew up in an hilo, where his mother went to elementary school. The majority of hoaan people live in the outer islands like molokai and big island. Anhilo is a very important place for our culture. It's the epi centre for dance andve and and our culture in a lot of different ways. I think that has a profound impact on people, whether they know it or not.
