Twitter verified more than a million accounts over the weekend, some of which were people who were deceased. If you pay for the blue checkmark, you're sort of pledging that you kind of agree with him. It's unfortunate that it represents like pledging allegiance to someone's ideology. I don't want it to carry that much weight anymore.
