When you say aggregation, I immediately thought like how does that relate to recursion? Is recursion a form of aggregation? Ah, when he says aggregation, do you mean somewhere else there's aggregation happening? Yeah. And it could be through recursion one after another or batching and then a recursive proof or these like newer ways of aggregating. Right. To verify 10,000 proofs and put that in one proof, you're doing a full verification inside a circuit 10,000 times. So what I think halo highlighted was saying, okay, for end goal is to verify these 10,000 Proofs. Maybe there's a way to do that where the total work is smaller
This week, Anna and Ariel Gabizon cover the SNARK trilogy; a history of pairing-based SNARKs in 3 acts. Starting from Jens Groth’s early works on SNARKs, Ariel takes us on a journey through key moments and breakthroughs in SNARKs over the last decade. They also dive into the emerging accumulation research on folding schemes and Ariel’s latest work surrounding lookup tables! This is an episode you won’t want to miss.
