Is Your Income Going to Exceed the Federal Poverty Level?
i thought that after ten years, whatever was left unpaid would be forgiven. And i was wrong, because it turns out that only if you owe 12 thousand or less will the amount be forgiven. In addition to that large mistake, i made a smaller mistake also on the pecentage that your income needs to exceed the federal poverty level. I said it was 250%, which was an increase from 150%. Instead, the increase was to 225%. But that's not nearly as significant a difference as what i missed on the amount of debt that would be forgiveness.
