What Is Biblical Authority?
The next 20 minutes are going to feel like a lecture. I'm well aware as an insider just how foreign and alien the concept of biblical authority is to our Western ear. A lot of us need to sort it out in order to come to a place where we trust the Bible in the same way that Jesus trusted the scriptures. For example, if we were Middle Eastern to stereotype, this would not be a major issue for us.
