Twilight - The Best Selling Romance Book of All Time

Best selling romance books, from a marketing spective, seem to sell because they make the reader feel wanted by an amazing man. Twilight saga is the twentieth best selling series of all time. As a marketer, looking at this book, i see that the success of twilight is not despite having an underdeveloped protagonist. It was because it had an under developed protagonist. If stephanie myer had gone in and done it edit and given bella a more specific personality, i don't think that would have helped the book sell more copies. May have helped make it a better book.
