The GameCube is like by all intents and purposes the last just like straight up Nintendo console with kind of no gimmick. The Wii's success I think set up the Icarus fate of the Wii U where they're like oh we're gonna do our own thing yeah but to an extent you do have to make a system that developers want to make games for a better reference time. Lucy over a game spot has a show called spot on on their YouTube that they do every week about what they want from the next switch.
