The Benefits of Running

There doesn't seem to be really any relationship between, you know, lifelong endurance running in your risk of developing knee osteoarthritis. And that's because when you're running, you're spending a lot of time in the air and your foot's not on the ground as long either. There are some caveats to that, too, that I think are worth adding: When we look at the elite runner, there seems to be a little higher risk of getting knee osteaarthritis than sedentary individuals.
